Hi, thank you for stopping by my blog!
I decided to create a project dedicated to my little family. My wonderful husband David that I have been married to for 6 years now and my two Shih-Tzu doggies, Biscuit and Cookie. My little family truly lights up my life in so many ways. Whether life gives me days of rain, sunshine or rainbows, I can always count on my husband to be silly with me and make me laugh and always rely on my doggies to lick my tears away :) This is a wood house I found at Michaels. I decided to paint it my favorite colors, and cut/fit scrapbook paper pieces into the cubby holes. For the banner I used Cricut Cartridge- Birthday Bash. The number 6 you see is for the years I have been married :)

By the way I do have blog candy here at my blog yayyyyy

My craft room a.k.a My Happy Place :)
Super blessed to be able to have a spacious space to do all the things that keep my heart happy...
I had my dad built me this shelf to store my glass, plastic and metal tins! Love it!
My sweet stash of embellishments.  Not sure if you can see my secret stash of Sweet & Salty almond bars too, gotta keep them handy when my bff come's to visit (they are her favorite).
I love this piece so much!  I bought this at Goodwill for about $3.00 and I just love that I can showcase some of my stamps and pictures of my doggies Biscuit & Cookie
This paper organizer has come in handy!  I try to keep it organized by color but it doesn't work out so much!
This small piece I also bought at Goodwill for a few bucks and I showcase all my miniature snow-globes I started collecting a few years ago.
These photo boxes are a great storage solution to store embellishments!
I bought these silver metal tins at an antique store and I use them to store my paper flowers.  The ribbon spool was purchased at Michaels.
I bought this table from someone on Craigslist and painted it white.  My dad found these chairs left over from an estate sale and figured I could do something with them.  You bet I did!  Now its another work station to have friends come by to visit and CReAte WiTh mE!! =)

Shawnee- http://www.blessedonthebrightside.com

So....me and my friends are all big fans of all the Twilight movies!  I mean who isn't? LOL
We all decided to make our own t-shirts for the midnight showing Thursday night.  I decided to try out the Cricut because I have heard rumors that the Expression could cut fabric.  I tried it out but had no luck!  Good thing my niece brought hers over (E2) and it worked way better than the E1!  We all got together on Monday night at my house and with all the girl talk we had only finished 1 t-shirt!  Had so much fun working on our shirts and waiting at the movie theater for the midnight showing.  Cant wait to do it all over again next year.  Good Times!
Team Edward :)

Hope you enjoyed it!

Sock Monkey Theme Birthday Party~

Two weekends ago, my niece had a Sock Monkey theme party for her son's 1st birthday.  When I first arrived I was in AWE!!!  She had made all the decorations by hand and with the help of the very handy cricut expression!  There was an area for a candy bar, a sock monkey pinata, tutu wreath, banners and of course a sock monkey cake!  She did such an awesome job that I had to share this with all my crafty friends!
So proud of you Kristen! :)
Have a blessed week everyone!
