3 Tier chevron painted pots~

Hello Everyone :)

I'm sorry I have neglected my blog lately I have been super busy working on my Etsy and Storenvy shop!  I decided to take a little leap and do what I love.  Take a look and see what I have been up to, let me know what you think! So for a long time now I have been wanting to paint my own terracotta pots and this is what I came up with.  It took me a long time to actually complete this project since I've been working on other things lately, but I'm so happy how it all turned out, something bright and cheery to welcome family and friends!

Love is in the Air Blog Hop~

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Love is in the Air Blog Hop!  Valentine's Day has to be one of my favorite holidays next to Christmas and Thanksgiving!  I love the decor, flowers, candy, balloons and stuffed animals and lets not forget the cheesy cards!  Valentine's Day is that one special day we can show extra love and appreciation to all those special people we have in our lives.  To celebrate Valentine's Day, I have a group of talented designers that have created their own special project to showcase.  We hope you enjoy hopping away and as always we hope to inspire you!

I decided to create a burlap banner for my project.  I used my cricut to cut out the letters and used them as a stencil and painted the letters in pink and then outlined the letters with a white sharpie to make the letters pop!  Next, I added white lace to the banner, very simple but very sweet and adorable.  I have to say I think this is one favorite projects I have ever made!

My project:

I created a pennant banner out of card stock paper and cut my letters with my cricut.   I used the hole puncher and used green mardi-gras beads to hang the banner.  I simply cut it in half, a good way to make use of those beads!  I just wished I had thought about that before! :)

Here is my idea of FAMILY...

Ive been married for 7 years and have not blessed with a baby just yet, but I have 2 girl shih-tzu's and they are my little babies :)  I created a burlap frame with a picture of my little family.  I purchased a plastic wide frame from Michaels a couple of months back on clearance for 1.00, I grabbed it and I knew one day I will make something with it!  I adhered burlap to the frame and added embellishments and made a fabric flower.

Thankful Bloghop~

Hello and welcome to the ‘Thankful’ Bloghop! This is the time of year we really reflect on what we have to be thankful for. One of those things I am thankful for is scrapbooking and all the crafts, supplies and people that go along with it. Here is my project, I saw this project on Pinterest a few months back with the word "thank" and she had also mentioned she purchased everything at her local dollar store.  Next day I went on a mission to find the similar items and I was so excited that I did! I bought the glass voltives and orange candles that smell so yummy.  I used cricut vinyl to cut out my letters.  I just love how easy and affordable this cute project turned out!  I hope my project inspires you to create one of your own!

Autumn Blessings Blog Hop 11/10~

Here is my project.  I created a pennant burlap banner and used jute twine to hang it on the mirror.  Using the same twine I decided to make the word "fall" on it and cut out cream colored felt for contrast.  The leaves you see on the mirror are gel clings.  A simple but cute look above my mantel!

I have seen several of these pennant burlap banner all over Pinterest and Im sure you have too!  I have been wanting to make one for a while now so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity!  I stenciled the letters onto the burlap and painted it with black acrylic paint.  I attached jute rope to the top of the banner with the hot glue gun.  And there you have it, a spooky banner!  :)

Craft Day~
